Thought this looked decent fun at best from the trailer but it just premiered and people are really loving it

O I thought it was based on the Overlord game series since it's a Games Radar article

Fun movie! A good theater watch. Can't really fault it for much, it was entertaining from start to finish really. Some tense scenes and good splatter and effects at time (a certain standout transformation scene is really good but I wish it was practical and not CGI)

Becoming a big fan of Wyatt Russell

Thought it was interesting to bring in the zombie concept but not really have a whole lot of... zombie action until the end? But the war aspect of the movie was exciting enough for it to not matter. The ending few scenes definitely made up for it and I think it was a good balance of the war/zombie genres. They made the nazi zombies trope feel not so cheesy which isn't an easy task most of the time. Thought it was funny that they were sneaking around the whole time until the zombies came out and then suddenly they were just SPRINTING through the army base with no cares in the world. Loved the concept of being in a nazi base and the last of your worries is running into an actual nazi. Agreed that the effects were fun. Only complaint there was that they weren't really.. consistent? The Chase scene specifically just felt like they were doing effects just to show off with his head sliding back and what not. BUT LIKED IT. And thought the characters fleshed out really well.

I kept wondering how many pairs of people they could show having meaningless conversations while walking in the wrong direction in that church.

The icing on the cake was the pair that came in to say hi to only one of the zombies and immediately walking back out.

Just saw it, I would say it’s definitely worth watching. I liked it a lot. I wouldn’t recommend it to people who don’t like to suspend disbelief (more than just accepting the concept of nazi zombies) but it was a lot of fun and really well done.

YE. I'd make an effort to see this in theaters if you're interested. Probably makes it better.
