For the sake of consistency I am going to call this Week 8b, even though with the delays it is pretty much Week 9...

BUT HERE WE ARE!!!!!!!!!!





This is it! The four of you cowboy'd and robbed and done tons of other stuff this summer and here you are in the finals. On Sunday it will all be revealed. You have five more challenges to complete between now and Sunday. NO EXTENSIONS!!! So get them done please. If you are super concerned about this please let me know now!

These challenges will be similar to the ones mentioned above except we are getting rid of the 2000, and 1000 point values. First will be worth 2500, second will be worth 1500, third will be worth 500 and fourth will get nothing. This is for all the marbles so put your game face on and get ready.

The final deadline will be Sunday night at 9:00 pm EST. Some of these should be done early so I will try to have everything ready so I can start the finale at around 10:00 pm. This is it so give it all your marbles and I am excited to reveal all the point totals for the first time this summer.

Here are your challenges for this week.


Challenge One

Everyone who was at summer camp this summer will recieve a letter informing them of the final four. They can choose which of the four they would like to win and send me a PM. The person who gets the most votes will win the 2500 points, with second getting 1500 and third getting 500 points. You can put a pitch in here why you deserve to win or PM people individually. All twenty campers who played the game have the oppurtunity to vote but are not obligated to. The eliminated campers will only vote one person so it is all or nothing.


Challenge Two

We did NJAW week which required you to post every 6 hours. We did keep the ball up by posting every 5 minutes. Lots of great activities that you all loved quite a bit. I thought about making you post once an hour for the remainder of the game but that seems just way too mean.

This challenge is called cruise control. This will be a minute by minute posting challenge so you are going to have to set aside some time to do this challenge. For every post you make you will score a point, however like cruise control you must stay at the same momentum. Meaning you must post the same amount of posts every minute. If you only post 1 post in the first minute you go, you will score 1 point, but you can only post 1 post in each additional future minute, any more or less and you will be eliminated. If you post 20 times in the first minute, you will sore 20 points, however if you only post 19 times the following minute your challenge is over.

If you start at 2:01 and post 5 times, in the minute of 2:02 you will also have to post 5 times. If you are able to post at 2:03, 2:04, and 2:05 but only post 4 times in 2:06 you will earn a total of 29 points.

If you start at 2:01 and post 1 time a minute till 2:25, you will only earn 25 points. So it is advantageous to post more times per minute, but what is your limit.

You will get 2 oppurtunities to try this. I will take your higher score as your official submission. I will make the official threads for you, as well as a practice thread. Feel free to do a quick couple minute practice run and PM me and I can check and make sure you understand correctly.

I will be nice if you accidently post early (say at 2:00:58), I won't count it and your challenge will start whenver you post at 2:01:00. Try not to do this though because I don't want grey areas. If you are worried about this post what time you will start in the thread.

Let me know if you have any questions on this! Player with the most points will earn the 2500 points.


Challenge Three

Trivia about the game! To start this challenge post :timestart: on the encounter board and you will be given your first question. For simplicity sake all of the answers will be true or false.

To get the next question you must post the question number and the answer. So for example if it were to say "#1: Nav is in the final four." You would post :1f:. If you are correct question 2 would come up. If you were to post :1t: in this example it would be wrong.

This will be based on time from start to finish. However everytime you post a wrong answer you will add 2 minutes to your time. So be careful. All of these questions will be able to be looked up from the Summer Camp Board and a lot could be common knowledge depending on how much you were paying attention. There are 15 questions so plan accordingly. I have procrastinated setting this up. It will for sure be set up tomorrow night, I will let y'all know. I will make a thread dedicated for this in your encounter board when it is ready.


Challenge Four

Our final challenge REDUX, but it will be up to you. All four of you have 24 hours to choose one of these three challenges to re-do for a final time. Option one is a Jigsaw Puzzle, option two is the infamous Math Square, and option three in Bucketball! The option that receives the most votes will be posted tomorrow. In the event that it is a tie, the option not in the tie will be chosen so be careful!

UPDATE: the event that won is Bucketball. The person who scores the most in the first 10 rounds will win.

Challenge Five

There will be one last Pie Day Friday! Well it doesn't have to be Friday. For the sake of fairness, can you all please agree on a 4 hour window from now and Sunday night. There will be three pies (2500, 1500, and 500) all ready to close at pre-determined times. The winner of summer camp could be decided by Pie Day Friday (isn't that exciting??).


That is it. I Am so proud of the campers you have become. Good luck, fight hard and don't forget to remember those campers who came before you. Because they could help decide who is going to be crowned the Summer Camp Champion!

I would pick Thurs/Friday evening or Saturday sometime for the 4 hour window. Sunday is my bday so I don't want to pick that day - also can we have an extension since Sunday is my bday? lol
