Penorca easy. The hippomoose doesn't even look that unique. At a quick glance it looks normal.
The penorca captures the eye and tells the viewer... this person isn't normal. They need an avatar.
Do the right thing, vote penorca. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

The hippoose looks like a newbis who wondered in here not knowing what's going on or what they are getting into.
The Penorca looks like it's been here awhile and is ready to cause trouble.
