74 players have been cast throughout four seasons of Sausage Island, but many, many players have applied. Each season we're unfortunately forced to turn down many great applicants due to cast size.

For season five, applications will be more important than ever. That's because for the first time, Brett and I will be making our individual choices while casting.

After the applications come in, Brett and I will have a live reveal on the season five board, where we'll each choose our top eight favorite applicants for our personal tribe. Lex's tribe vs. Brett's tribe.

Not only that, but for the first time (with some exceptions in past seasons), previous players will be allowed to apply as different characters!
