I feel like more could've been done with Shogunworld's intro. The whole episode felt like a side quest that wouldn't really have a huge impact on the story, but I guess that depends on what comes out of it down the road and if these characters stick around. I did like the characters and plot being mirror images of our characters
Still think the confirmation moment that other parks exist was cooler than the parks themselves (so far)
POOR TEDDY! Interested to see how he's different now. It's sorta cool that the show can change its host characters' personalities just like that. Might also make it even harder to care for any of them tho
Hey it's an episode that exclusively features my least favorite storylines atm
Was deceee though, Maeve's storyline was definitely the better of the two (though mostly despite her). I'm kinda hoping/expecting Maeve's OPness will come crashing down at some point soon, I mean how much more powerful can she get at this point? As if it wasn't enough that she could use voice commands, her MIND CONTROL takes almost all the tension out of her scenes now. I already like Akane better cuz at this point she's literally Maeve without the superpowers
The whole idea of the dopplebots was pretty fun to explore. I liked Hector's rivalry with his doppleganger/Armistice's infatuation with hers
It was pretty obvious where Dolores' storyline was going the entire time, they telegraphed that way too hard. Poor Teddy
def wasn't as good as last week's. That episode was top tier in the series so far. I just read people praising tonight's as the best so far this season and I'm like huuuuuuuuuuh
whoa, cut-throat business, I liked that a lot. obviously not as strong as last episode, but VERY okay in my book. the martial arts scenes were very great on the eye.
"I'm from hong kong, asshole!" - best line
"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
