It's pretty much summer around here. Pick your 3 favorite outdoor activities from the list, or give me some I didn't think of

I chose Volleyball, picnics, and hanging out with friends.
I probably would have put going on a walk/run, cause I always feel more motivated to do active things when the sun is out. But I spend most of my lunches at work nowadays in the park near my work just hanging out.

Golf, fish, bbq, but I also like walking or hiking with my dogs.

Swimming/camping/hanging out in the shade bsing with friends
I'm in my pool a lot throughout the summer. And friends and I have gone camping/hiking a lot more over the past couple of summers/springs
Canoeing and kayaking was big for me years ago when my buddies and I would vacation in Maine but we don't do that anymore

I haven't tried kayaking since they got bigger and easier to use. The old cigar shaped ones where you slipped your legs inside were a bitch, though.

That sounds like the one I’d always use (p sure it was decently old). It was a struggle to cram your legs into it
Also v scary as a kid learning to flip yourself right side up if you were ever tipped over but securely stuck in the kayak

I never learned how to use one of those small kayaks beside how to flip myself back over because I loved the thrill.

Yeah that's the kind I tried. Some of the newer ones are much wider and open topped.

I picked Hiking/BBQing/Rafting etc. I wanted to pick golfing, but I haven't even taken my clubs out in 10+ years, so it probably doesn't belong in the top 3 at this point. While I haven't been in a canoe in a while, and a kayak in ever, there is just something awesome about floating down a river in an innertube drinking a cold adult beverage in the summer.
I would have also picked camping, but camping is better in the spring/fall when it isn't as hot and there aren't as many bugs to deal with. Plus, I love sleeping when it's cold outside.
