I'll be honest I almost just want to Change movies and watch this one later on my own. To me whatever happened to Monday is probly a much better movie.

This is a really good way to describe this movie.

The acting was very, very good. I will give it that.

An action movie was a nice refreshing change of pace for us. I thought the concept was a little IFFY and the seven sisters gimmick would come off as very "Nutty Professor meets The Expendables" but I was definitely surprised by how much I enjoyed it!

I loved how unforgiving the movie was. After the first sister drops, it felt like the movie continuously started setting up how the next sister would inevitably die. I was very shocked when they told Saturday to go to a STRANGER'S house to sleep with him. I thought that decision wasn't really the smartest...

I think my biggest problem with the movie was it's predictability. It becomes apparent early on that Monday turned on her sisters. How crazy would it have been if Monday had rejoined them at some point and the plot became "which one of us is the one that sold each other out?" Each sister could have been hiding something from their own personal experiences outside and the constant paranoia could have risen the tension for the audience pretty effectively.

I also thought it would have been pretty gnarly if they not only killed the kids but turned them into food which was used to keep the population fed. We could have had a very SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE moment. Also wouldn't the government be aware of the corporation killing kids? If the entire government was tied into it, it'd probably take an entire revolution to switch things back. Otherwise the government did a real SHITTY job of inspecting the lack of cyrotechnology in the building.

Monday's death was so tragic but I loved it. Killing her own family to protect her new one. Although, wouldn't they have killed one of her twins too? I'm confused about that now...Was she making a deal with Glenn Close to protect both of her babies?

By the way, Monday's boyfriend's story is hilarious. Not only does he cheat on his pregnant girlfriend with her own sister, but essentially helps them break into the company, expose the corporation's plan. which in a way is also Monday's, and then sets in motion the events that ultimately lead Monday into getting SHOT to death. What bad luck this man has!

Regardless, I thought it was a really creative concept with some really great acting from Noomi Rapace. Really wish we got to see more of her in Alien Covenant.

I ended up really enjoying this more than I thought I would. Going into it I thought it might just be another average Netflix original sci fi release, but it was far better than the others that I’ve seen

The concept was really fun. Familiar but original enough. The tone is what they nailed imo. I thought it’d be way softer. NOPE! They really didn’t hold back, bodies started dropping early and often. That’s when I knew I’d like the movie more than expected

Some brutal deaths and fight scenes. The tough Karenwho was shot mid jump, the douchey coworker getting sniped through the milk, the first fight in their apartment against the three dudes, the nurse who got tourched. All standouts and all really great. Pretty unrelenting violence at times

I do agree about the predictability. The Monday betrayal could be seen from a mile away and I guessed the burning of the kids pretty early on, but both were still good. Would’ve loved what Jacob suggested about trying to sus out which one betrayed them. Would’ve also been cool if they set Monday up to look like the traitor but it ended up being Tuesday or something. Like if the boyfriend said “I don’t wanna just see you in Tuesday” and they were like OHHHH SHIIIIIITTT. Could’ve played around more with the identical twin aspect but there were still plenty of fun clever moments, like not knowing which one was shot at the end and the wig reveal right after

I did not see the pregnancy reveal coming. That was EXACTLY what the ending needed and helped make sense of Monday’s motivations, that was great

I didn’t pay any attention to possible plot holes or conveniences or anything because I was having enough fun throughout the whole thing. Well paced movie

GOOD SHIT. 7/10
