Carrying over from ProM where Mal started a topic discussing the new and upcoming games (due to the recent announcement Nintendo are working with Namco to develop this).

Also inspired by Bryce's intro thread. Anybody with a copy of Brawl who wants a fight some-time, post your details up in here. It'd be fun to play online. I'll kick anybody's ass with Toon Link or Diddy Kong.

lol I was going to make this thread. Oh well. I can't really play online or anything. but I'm a big SSB fan.
Kirby and Toon Link are my mains, with a little bit of Ivysaur tossed in there.

The only thing about Toon Link I don't like is his attacks are exactly the same as Link...I wish they gave him at least a few things different....besides the puffs of bomb smoke look more cartoony...

The only thing with Lucas for me is his attacks are too laggy and it's so hard to grab anyone...especially 1v1.

Toon Link is more agile, especially on Brawl. They made Link a lot clunkier.

His jumps are awful!

I'm looking up SSB4 and I have to say that I would LOVE to see just about every character imaginable.

If it's going to be the last installment, I would like to see a TON of characters so the game would never really get boring! =P

Like add just about every Mario player or Zelda character you can and stuff. The only thing would be making move sets that don't really overlap with others.

not all of his attacks are the same... I mean, He lacks any of Link's kicking moves. and his boomerang functions differently... lol. I don't really mind though because I never play as Link so, it's like... Link who?

Plus Toon Link has some awesome costumes.

I really hope there are more costume options in the new game, like... I dunno, colour scheme editing? So your characters are personalized for Online play?

Yeah I would like to be able to make costumes. Like on xbox live with the avatars you can choose clothes.

There could be a setting where you could design costumes of characters.

The reason I like playing as Snake is because he has the leopard print haha

But I just read something that said Sonic and Snake won't be making the cut for SSB4... =\

At this point I'd hope they replace Sonic with Tails then. I've been dying to have Tails in the game.

Wait, they're coming out with SSB4? I thought Brawl was supposed to be the last installment of all time, ever. I feel so betrayed.

Anyway, Paulus, I might have to dust off my Wii and take you up on that. I mained Luigi all through high school, and he and Ike are my characters of choice these days. (Though I still have an unhealthy obsession with seeing how many times in a match I can make Captain Falcon say "Show me your moves!" and still win. My all-time record is something around 200.)

I haven't played anything on Wii in forever but I'd be down to break it out if anyone wants to play sum Brawl

Pretty sure the GC Smash Bros is the one and only smash bros, N64 one is good though.
