the villain was good (again) but I wish they would've offed him here. BRING IN SOME FRESH BLOOD. The Syndicate plot feels kinda played out at this point. Or they need to at least introduce someone 'bigger' than this guy in the next movie The big car chase scene, the helicopter chase, etc were all really well done but my favorite action scene by the end was still the bathroom fight. That was so fucking well choreographed and VISCERAL

that scene from the end of the trailer where he's about to run into the semi in his helicopter?? That looked great

the 1st one is a masterpiece, de palma classic. intense, and that ridiculous helicopter showdown, haha, awesome nonetheless.
the 2nd was kind of meh storywise, but it was from john woo and it had some awesome slow-mo dual-wielding shit in it, and pidgeons!
the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th or whatever I cannot differentiate?! meh

I guess the action sequences are decent. when it's on TV I'd watch it...

The 2nd one was p bad but I still kinda dug it as a kid, it has my favorite MASK RIP-OFF reveal moment in the series

I'm appreciating the last one as i've now seen it a few times (something nation or whatever). I'd have to watch the series again to get a good feel for it.

The one with Paula Patton in it i enjoyed as well. (Ghost protocol?)

Maybe a little overrated? With people calling it the best action movie in 20 years. But then again...what's its competition really? It's certainly up there It was a lot of fun. I don't need the plot to be spectacular tbh, there were some predictable but nice little twisty moments. I do wish the trailer didn't reveal so much though. Why not keep Cavill vs. Cruise a secret? The action was undeniably impressive. You could tell how authentic some of the Cruise real stunts were and it was TOUGH to tell what he wasn't actually doing, the visuals looked good. I like how some of the chase/action scenes were really drawn out but didn't get boring, they just kept changing to keep it fresh. May palms were SWEATING! Liked Henry Cavill as the villain a lot, especially in the back half. He was a little wooden throughout but I guess that was sorta his character, he felt really relentless by the end and I was rooting for him to die hardcore. His death was great and very satisfying I also can't believe Lane lives to see another movie, but he's good Tom Cruise is 56. That's pretty insane. It's clear he values this franchise a whole lot and it strengthens the movies imo Wrestling between a 7/8 but I'm probably at a low 8. Might be my favorite since the first one, I think it edged out MI3

I wish i had listened to you. Jurassic was so so so so awful. And this movie seems so hype and i have to wait a couple weeks to see it
