I've decided to start a lets play for this nice dating simulator. I'm sure this will be a charming adventure in love and generic anime girls. The first video is uploading now, but I want to continue playing soon, so in the meantime, help me decide which of these lovely ladies we are going to woo!


In order....
There's Sayori, our "annoying" childhood friend we clearly despise, and Vice President of the Literature Club.
Yuri, a shy but intelligent girl with a passion for literature, psychology, and horror, who is not very interesting in any way.
Monika, the club's President, who is popular and the best at everything and also low key scares me with her stiff posture.
And Natsuki, who totally doesn't like you or anything, b-baka!!! She's a writer with a love of all things cute.


And finally, last and certainly least, there is us, the protagonist known as "Table," who is kind of a dick and obviously suffers from depression.

For the record, I've been voicing Natsuki as some kind of Shadow/KC/valley girl hybrid, making her the blatantly correct choice.

Also please do not look this up to give me advice. I want this to be spoiler free fun! Let's just enjoy the journey.

PART 2

My personal highlights

- "I bet she turns out to have some sort of tragic illness." after the oversleeping line. I hope this comes true.
- Sayori's lil noise kept me laughing. It was so OTT. I love it.
- "Speckled?"
- "I don't trust her."
- "Does this guy have depression or something? ... Yeah, he has depression. Okay."
- NATSUKI'S VOICE. THE ANGRY GREMLIN. I'M DEAD.
- Monika was one of my favorites until you said she terrifies you and her voice changed to a monotone robot and I'm shook.
- I feel like Monika is a robot built by the school to lead every club. Conspiracy??? I think so.
- I know you didn't mean to but when you stuttered on Monika's line you just kept going "Not many people are interested in putting out" and I kept giggling.
- The pauses to laugh after ever Natsuki scene makes me lose it
- Question mark.
- All five voices back-to-back was too much. I never want a group scene again because I've been laughing for five minutes.
- Monika saying how she's excited to see how Table will express himself because she can't feel emotions.
- WILL I FINALLY BE HAPPY.


All in all, I am INVESTED. I want a Table of my own now.

PART TWO IS ALREADY OUT!!! I'm already behind.

Part 3 is uploading. I am so bad at keeping the voices straight, my god. Also the game crashed but thankfully it's not like its hard to get back to where I was. I don't think I had this exact version of the poem choices saved though, which might change things. It might pay more attention than I thought to that, based on Monika's dialogue

Also I was starting to get worried about how long this is going to be but it's like 4-5 hours which isn't too bad. I was expecting it to be short since it's free. (Expected it to be shorter tbh)

- What happened to the poem?? - "I'll make Yuri more lifelike so Monika is less monotone." she says right before making Monika even more creepy. - YEEHAW YURI - The Monika voice is perfect now actually. W2G. BUT THEN THE NATSUKI MUMBLE I CAN'T. - "Also I've seen this stockphoto before." - THERE. IS. OUR. THEME. - I like that you started out calling Table an asshole and now you agree with him all the time. Character development for you both. - I gasped about as loud as you did when the art changed to look at Natsuki from that new angle. - Reading the world sparkles and Natsuki in the same sentence just seemed horribly wrong to me. - Monika's voice WENT BACK TO BEING A MONOTONE ROBOT but I think I like it that way. - Thank you for explaining where the poem went, it was haunting me. HOPE YOUR THROAT FEELS OKAY. Also I'm amused that they made a club together when none of them like the same type of books. But I guess that is what makes it a good DATING sim.
