So, with the national "eat twice what your stomach can hold" day coming up (for us Americans) tomorrow, what'll end up on your table for dinner?

I'm in charge of cooking most of the stuff in my family this year, so we'll be having the following:

Roasted Turkey
Mashed Potatoes
Turkey Gravy
Mashed Sweet Potatoes
Green Bean Casserole
Crescent Rolls
Pecan Pie

Happy Thanksgiving to you all, and if you are traveling, safe travels.

i'll probably have turkey, and put some mashed potatoes on my plate, only to remember too late that my cousin sucks at making them. The turkey, which will be dry, will be the only thing i eat. I will dip every forkful in salt.

I might have apple pie.

My daughter is hosting and they're smoking the turkey in their Traeger. It sounds really good. Other menu items:

garlic mashed potatoes (they're so good)
gravy
stuffing
whatever green bean casseroles or salads etc
macaroni and cheese
rolls
pumpkin pie, apple pie (courtesy of me/Costco today lol)
wine, of course

No pumpkin pie is a sin

We had a thanksgiving potluck at work last Friday, and I brought home 2 left over pumpkin pies. I've been eating those all week, so I'm changing it up for tomorrow.

I'm really tempted to put the turkey on the smoker tomorrow, so I have the extra oven space. If I do, I'll have to take some pictures to post.
