It's weird seeing Catniss and Captain Salazar kissing each other.

Movie looks good though.

but some critics were saying it was going to the modern-age A Clockwork Orange in regards to controversy... lol no. Most ridiculous comparison I've heard all year.

I think only one person said that because only two people have gotten to review it so far. She's some horror writer:

"Carbia takes things ever further, claiming “mother!” is bound to go down as “the most controversial film since “A Clockwork Orange.” “I can only say that it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before,” she tweeted. “It pushes the envelope in ways you can’t even imagine.”

But ... but ... but ... she's the Queen of Horror!

I don't know about this director and don't know what A Clockwork Orange is, but this movie still looks really good to me.

It gives me The Orphan vibes though. Like that sadistic, creepy kind of feel.

That it was controversial. It has some rape scenes and a lot of violence, but even with all that it still makes you love the guy portrayed as the 'bad guy' as the movie progresses. It's the most glorious type of mind-fuck. Malcom McDowell is great in it and this film is the definition of a cult-classic film. It's a masterpiece. Such a clever artistic vision by Kubrick (the director of 2001, The Shining, Dr Strangelove) , and would still to this day call it ahead of our time. It's fucking art man.
