Didn't know where to ask this, but can anyone tell me if a Region Free blu ray disc will play on any blu ray player (ie. PS3 or PS4) or do you need a special region free blu ray player? Sorry if it's a dumb question. | | |

I believe region free will play on any player by design. I also noted looking on the Net that you can actually adjust the settings on your PS4 to be different regions apparently. I don't have a PS4 so can't test:

I don't think PS3 or PS4's are region free.
I had to buy a region free BLU ray player for that. I assume it's the same thing over there, but I'm not sure. | | |

It should. I'll have to look through my anime disks and test (I think I have a few region free ones).

Didn't want to bump the thread, lol but the answer is 'yes'. All-region/region-free discs will play in any bluray player! :)

This topic reminded me to go check if Cube was on blu ray in the US yet.
Hell no. I'm about to give up hope on it. Region B/2 got a 15th anniversary edition and everything. | |
