The first night begins shortly after most have headed back to their homes for the evening. Brian and Timmah are taken away in a humvee to a distant location. Once they have arrived at a secret location, they are let out and led into a dark room, with only one light. As their eyes adjust, they can see the many Martians huddling around them, waving strangely colored pieces of paper up in the air.

"They must be wagering on us," Timmah says to brian.

"Well, they better be putting their money on me, because I'm MONEY! I bet I'm getting at least 2-1 odds." Brian replies.

Timmah, unfazed by this show of confidence closes his eyes and thinks through his upcoming play. Just then, the crowd goes quiet, as the referee-looking Martian slides out to stand in front of them.

[Pointing at brian] "Ack ack ack...ack?"

"I have no idea what you are saying" brian replies.

[Pointing at Timmah] "Ack ack ack...ack?"

"Umm, I think he wants us to start" Timmah says.

"Ok, shoot on 3?"

"Now, is that 1-2-3-shoot, or 1-2-shoot?"

"Damnit Timmah, it's always 1-2-3-shoot. Doesn't everyone know this?"

"Fine"

So they both throw down and the crowd erupts when they see Timmah has won the first throw. Only one more and he will be victorious.

Once the crowd quiets down, brian and Timmah ready themselves again.

"1-2-3-shoot!"

This time, it's brian that pulls off the victory, tying up the series 1-1.

"Next one takes it" Timmah says.

"Well, duh" brian replies, obviously irritated at this noob's lack of knowledge.

"1-2-3-shoot!"

And just as their hands come to a stop, brian knows he has underestimated his opponent. It's almost slow motion where Timmah takes his flat hand, extends it out, and lays it directly on top of brian's balled up hand.

"I believe paper beats rock" Timmah states with a smile.

Its with this move, that Timmah has won the duel! The crowd erupts in what sounds like anger, while the Martians who originally collected the colored paper have big smiles on their faces. Brian is quickly escorted back out to the humvee, while Timmah stays behind for just a minute. Shortly after that, both of them are whisked back to their homes for the evening.

Day 2 breaks with a beautiful sunrise over the high desert mountains. It'd be a spectacular morning, if it weren't for the large, ominous spaceships blocking the sun. President Dale calls for all members to reassemble, so the damage from the previous night can be analyzed.

"Is everybody here and ok?" he asks the group.

People start looking around and counting. It appears that 22 people left last night, and only 20 have returned this morning.

"Who is missing? President Dale asks.

A voice from the back responds with "where is Lamps?"

The group looks around, and Lamps is nowhere to be seen. "Well, let's go check it out."

The group makes their way over to Lamps' residence, and they step inside. It doesn't take long to see what happened to him. A bright green skeleton is all that remains of him, which is now slumped up against the wall in his living room.

Player: Lamps Character: General Decker (Rod Steiger) Role: Action General Action: You are the top ranking General in the U.S. Army, and you can't believe these Aliens had the audacity to invade your country. You would love nothing more than to send them back to Mars (preferably in a casket) and blow the stupid red planet to smithereens! Each night you will go hunting, trying to rid this world of Aliens, and will be required to select one person to shoot each night. Also, if you are ever lynched, you are going to try to take one of those green bastards down with you, by activating the nuclear football you carry around for the president. Launching the nuclear weapon will cause one other person (selected at random) on your lynch train to be destroyed as well. Win Condition: Generic Town

The group reconvenes, and looks around to see who else is missing.

The President's daughter steps forward and says, "has anyone seen jaime?"

The group looks around, and nobody seems to have seen jamie this morning. They head back out to the street and start making their way towards jamie's residence, when they see a gruesome sight in the street. It's what looks like jamie, but it's hard to tell, as the body seems to have had it's head explode, and there is brain matter all over the place.

Player: Jamie Character: Martian Doctor Action: You have been trained in the best Martian medicine available, and as such, each night you can visit one person and protect them from harm. Your medicines have no effect on humans, but are very successful in curing any issues affecting your fellow Martians. Win Condition: Generic Mafia

With everybody else accounted for, the group returns to the makeshift landing pad, and looks to continue their discussion from yesterday.


Day 2 has now begun. With 20 players alive, it'll take 11 votes for both a lynch and a duel nomination. Plurality is in effect. Also, as this is entering a weekend, the deadline will be Sunday night at 6 PM CT.

Timmah and Brian: What happened?

So was Lamps this game's Vig? And did he take the Martian Doc with him?

I was also wondering, but maybe it's in the rules (I'll go check), what would happen (if possible) if one of the rock-paper-scissor-ers were attacked at night. Can they be?

Timmah and Brian: What happened?

Brian did not go all scissors, clearly.

But now I'm concerned that anyone we select for the duel can become targets by the Martians, since they'll have a chance at some advantage.

The order of kills go Vigilante < Serial Killer < Mafia so that's possible.

I'm not sure if the duelers would be targeted, since they are not sure who will win.
