jesus christ those last 20 minutes. So many twists. MY HEAD IS SPINNING
I thought that Times Square photo confirmed dual timelines earlier in the episode, but then Dolores walking through the church seemed to imply the "blue dress" version of her was 30 years ago, and the current day version was reliving those moments, which would mean it's still one timeline. I think?? The MIB walking in at the end when she asked "William?" is the only thing that makes me question it, but I feel like it was too ambiguous if they were actually trying to reveal something. The simpler explanation is that MIB and William were in the same timeline after all. BUT THAT STILL DOESN'T EXPLAIN THE PHOTO
Maeve's storyline continues to be the weak link of the show, I thought after last week it'd get more interesting, but then she easily overpowers Bernard and it's back to her being a god. A big reason Dolores' storyline has been so much more engaging is that she actually encounters challenges. Though I guess with Bernard being dead and Maeve killing herself again, she might meet with Ford? I feel like that'd be a pretty fitting showdown for the finale
Is Bernard gone for good??? That would be so disappointing, Jeffrey Wright is such a good actor. I love these scenes of him becoming self aware and figuring shit out, he kills it every time
Bernard being modeled after Arnold was another theory that they took aaaaages to get to, in this episode alone they kept spelling it out over and over instead of going with an out of the blue hammer drop reveal, BUT I really can't fault them because it's all executed so well. It was the same way with the Bernard=host reveal and will probably be the same with the William=MIB reveal. They danced around both Bernard twists for so long in the reveal episodes but the 10 minutes of build up each time has been so good. I love the nonstop score throughout
They threw in one actual surprise though with Dolores being the one to kill Arnold, assuming that's the case. That'll be cool to see play out, and at least Jeffrey Wright should be back in that capacity. I want BERNARD back tho, not just Arnold
I thought all stories were engaging this week. William/Logan stuff was cool. William cutting off everyone's limbs was......a bit much! Like damn Billy chill out bud
The times square pic helps support the two timelines I think. I'm so certain that this is the case and that William=MIB at this point that I'd be shocked if it wasn't the case. I imagine it'll be revealed in the finale so I'm excited. They have a good amount to get to next week

It probably is the case, there's really no other way to explain the photo. I guess the fact that Dolores was wearing the "cowgirl" outfit instead of the blue dress in the future was meant as a misdirect to make us think we were seeing her in the William/Logan timeline after she ran off. Makes sense how her wound suddenly healed too (appeared to anyway). Wonder where she's going in the past timeline then? I would think they're gonna keep with that storyline for at least the finale, and she couldn't have been going to the church unless this is her THIRD time there
And I'm still curious to see what the POINT of all that misdirection in general was. Like the entire season has been building up to this at this point, I would hope it's leading to some (other) huge revelation
I love how willing they were to give us an entire episode of answers. This whole thing was really well done overall, with exceptional acting by all involved. The acting really does elevate my enjoyment. Even the relative nobodies like Clementine and Elsie manage to be outstanding.
I have some nitpicking about the show, but I'm currently trying to let that sizzle. Sometimes I feel as though they break the logic of the world to have cool scenes (like the fire sex scene).
I agree that William=MIB and I've been holding out for a long time on that one. My thing is, I feel like Dolores would recognize the MIB as William at this point- so that means that in the "30 years ago" timeframe, he must've done something awful when he finally found her.
Oh and the reveal that MIB was a member of the board was cool
..we didn't know that did we? (:
We only knew that he was a Bill Gates-type figure who had made some sort of special investment in the park to get privileges. We didn't know he was a board member.
