Screams and gunfire could be heard throughout the night. After the chaos of that first day, everyone was rearing to dish out punishment upon their enemies. But despite the onslaught of violence, there was but one corpse to be found in the morning.

Pharah found herself staring down the center of a giant well. It seemed the members of Overwatch had found themselves in Ilios overnight, somehow. Whatever the case was, she knew she couldn't linger long. There was justice to dispense.

Pharah pressed a button on her suit and activated her jetpack, sending her soaring over the city. Her eyes darted back and forth until she spotted her target and began to carefully hover towards them. She slowly slid a rocket into her launcher and prepared to fire...

"JUSTICE RAINS..." she started, just as she began to hear some footsteps behind her.

"FROM AB--AUGHHHHHHH" she wailed in pain as she felt a barrage of sharp pains in her back. She glanced over her shoulder and quickly noticed her jetpack beginning to malfunction. An easy enough fix if she could just reach back...but no matter how she tried, her arm wouldn't budge. The shots to her back had left her completely paralyzed. Moments later, the malfunctioning jetpack began to spiral out of control.

"AUGHHHHHHHHH" she continued to cry out through the night, her screams falling on deaf ears. As she careened ever closer to the ground, she noticed where the haywire jetpack had led her: the well of Ilios.

She could do nothing but watch as she helplessly plummeted down the impossibly deep chasm. Several seconds later, a faint crunch could be heard from the bottom.

Dylan (Pharah), MAFIA, has been killed. Regular abilities: - Rocket Launcher: Shoot this at any target. It will deal 100 HP damage to them and anyone who visits them that night. (5 ult points + 1 bonus point for every additional player hit) - Jump Jet: Use this to escape anyone that visits that night. Cooldown: 1 night (5 ult points + bonus 10 for successful evasion) Ultimate: - Barrage: You may use this any time you have votes on you during the day. Everyone that has voted for you up to that point will be bombarded with a barrage of rockets, taking 80 HP of damage each.

Day 2 has begun. The day will end at 2am EST on Sunday - about 28 hours from now (I'll be gone most of Saturday - we'll get to a more normal schedule after this). With 21 alive, it'll take 11 to reach majority. Plurality IS still in effect today.

Never played with Helios, but that overly strong first post has me all tingly.

Missed the second half of the last day, but that was an interesting read. I was pretty interested in the division of people trying to make the roles fit into traditional Mafia or scum roles. Versus those saying it's all random. The rules state it's random but the sides of that argument could still hold some reads.

Technically it says that characters are random as far as what faction they are in. The rules also say "obviously some liberties have been taken with all of them to some extent." Just because a character belongs to one faction or the other doesn't mean that the abilities aren't adapted to fit the faction. The game will still be balanced, otherwise it wouldn't work.

I also think it's weird that people buying into the totally random theory were so accepting of any claim, when if the roles are completely random and uninfluenced by alignment it wouldn't matter what the claim was.

But I'll leave it alone for now since I'm leaning town for ahoda for now

Dr, I think I agree with you. I dont think we can necessarily make determinations of faction based on a character claim, but some do seem more inclined to be scum aligned. I think that paying attention to the sides in that debate could be important though.

If that's the case, what's the point in a claim at all except to possibly let everyone know your abilities and hp. Otherwise your claim seems to do nothing
