whoever sansa wrote to comes in and saves the day when Jon's outnumbered army gets stomped? If it's Baelish at the helm of the Vale, is this the start of his power move? He'll be credited with the victory, etc etc.
I think Jon will be safe, but I'm worried for Davos and Sansa. Something about the Arya fakeout death and now that we know she's heading back to Winterfell for a reunion....
I'd prefer to see Ramsay taken prisoner for a few reasons, 1) the character does not deserve a quick death for everything he's done, 2) I want to keep watching Iwan Rheon act

I think Davos is done, maybe Tormund too but I honestly don't think any more Starks are going to die. Period for the rest of the show. Of course there are times I forget how expendable GOT characters are. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I wouldn't be surprised to see Rickon get killed off, maybe even in this next episode. But yeah the rest of the Starks all seem to be locks to last until at least the last few episodes of the series

combo of book spoilers and show prediction
|
Sansa will become Stoneheart..
She dies during the battle
Arya, who is now reconnected with herself, finds out her ability to warg, and expierences the BWB pulling Sansa out of the river after the battle
Beric gives her the kiss of life |
And the rest is history.

I flipped away from Penny Dreadful in time to see Dany and Yara talk and shake arms (and Yara being like "I mean I'll marry you if you want"), so I guess that was okay. I forgot how short Emilia is and the height difference between her and Gemma made me giggle.
I went back to Penny Dreadful after, but I'm gonna assume Rickon's gonna die or be mutilated or something in front of Jon and Sansa if he hasn't already been.

Well, one of my hopes came true tonight (aside from Dany x Yara). Yay Sansa! (though still fuck that whole plot bullshit she was put through)

Great episode, the Mereen shit notwithstanding. I was so disappointed that they didn't make this a single location episode (though I guess it was 2/3 at Winterfell at least). Those scenes were so incredibly rushed, especially the way Theon/Yara suddenly just APPEAR out of nowhere, no scenes leading up to it with their ships at least coming into bay. That was so choppy, but I guess it's nothing that new as of late. Plus we got to see heaps more Smug Dany oh joy. At least they're starting to acknowledge how crazy she's becoming
The Winterfell stuff was gr8 though. That long shot of Jon slashing people in the heat of the battle, and that shot of Jon emerging from all the corpses were amazingly shot. For some reason I legitimately felt fearful for Jon's safety when he was getting buried alive, which is surprising. This battle easily joins the ranks of Castle Black/Hardhome for me
And even though the Littlefinger Rohirrim was very predictable, the scenes afterwards were good. rip Wun Wun :( And although the way Ramsay died was also somewhat predictable, it would've been hard to find a more fitting way for him to go

How satisfying was it seeing the Stark banner raised at Winterfell again? Next week's map will have the Stark logo again

Pretty good battle scene. RIP my beloved Ramsey, I wish you would have had one more trick up your sleeve. Perhaps taken Sansa or Thormund with you. Make it that much more satisfying that you are no longer there.
