My friend thinks ferrets are ugly and awful pets. I think they're fun and would make great pets

Help me settle this debate please

Ferrets are awesome. My friend has three and they just spend all day trying to steal from you and from each other. One tried to steal a wine glass out of my wife's hand so it could go hide it.

The wife had one before we were married, she said they were terrible. Had that musky smell, that wasn't appealing, and they bit.

I'm getting conflicting ferret reports so far

My former roommate (the one who left over a sticker) shared a ferret with her boyfriend. Then he cheated on her and I don't know who got custody of the ferret.

She seemed to like the ferret.

Nobody should ever cheat on a ferret.

Maybe he cheated on her with her ferret

I didn't realize ferrets were "pet" material. I think they're cute though, so not sure what to vote.

I have had one encounter with a ferret, many years ago. That was plenty. I was babysitting and one of the kids let their pet ferret loose. Guess who had to try to catch it? When I finally did get the stupid thing it bit my finger, right through my fingernail. It hurt so much, I wanted to chuck it against the wall. It may have been a nice ferret, the kids screaming and chasing it through the house probably didn't help it's disposition. I'll never know. I've been afraid of them ever since.

Ferret's are the worst, they stink terribly and you have to clean their cages constantly or else your entire house will stink like shit and piss.

One of my friend's old roommates had a ferret and his room constantly stank like ferret piss.

My friend eventually kicked him out because he couldnt take it and he had to hire a professional cleaner to come in to get the stink out and IT STILL STUNK LIKE FERRET PISS whenever we were over there.

Ugh fuck ferrets.

The people who tell me ferrets smell bad I hope don't have dogs. Dogs are quite smelly and there is nothing worst than a wet dog.

And any animal you don't help with basic grooming/cleaning is gonna smell like shit. Some people hate litterbox "cat smell", but these same people have lawns that smell like dog shit all summer.

i fulfill my desire by watching cute ferret gifs. otherwise i've heard they smell (stronger than other animals), are kinda destructive, and are pretty expensive to maintain.
