Schrauben and Timmah led the pack.

"I can...I can almost see it!" Schrauben squealed, pointing out across the desert. One could just make out a bald eagle circling the sky a few miles north.

Timmah whooped and hollered excitedly.

"That's right Timmah! The land of the free! I've waited my--"

Schrauben was cut short as Timmah began to go apeshit, screaming at the top of his lungs. He pointed his furry arm straight towards the sky.

"What is it, boy?" Schrauben asked, before looking up. And there, he saw it. A 747 headed right towards them.

His face pale, his hands shaking, Schrauben reached into his pocket while Timmah hollered at the five still trailing, urging them to stay back.

Schrauben pulled out a radio and began fiddling with the controls. Finally, the static cleared, and he could hear a voice. He had intercepted the cockpit.

"please turn that plane around would you" Schrauben pleaded.

"witness me" the radio whispered back, before clicking off. And with that, the plane collided with the ground.
