Only 40% watching but pretty shocked Redmayne won. I haven't seen Theory of Everything but there were a couple of others that I thought would get it over him, especially Keaton

Kind of glad Boyhood didn't win best picture. Definitely preferred Birdman and a few others.

I had Redmayne pegged to win best actor ever since I saw The Theory of Everything. Not too surprising tbh. Keaton gave an Oscar worthy performance and probably could have won easily any other year.

Theory of Everything was a total Oscar bait movie tbh, but yeah, Redmayne did deserve it

Glad Birdman won best picture! Totally expected Boyhood to win that. I agreed with more winners this year than I usually do. Only ones I definitely would've wanted different are Interstellar for best score and Lego Movie for best animated

Because the academy thought it was too silly, clearly. And nobody watches the animated films anyway so they just vote for whatever their kids liked most recently. notice that most winners of best animated film come out in Q4.

Pretty glad Patricia Arquette won. She definitely deserved it. I love her. To think that her first popular movie was A Nightmare on Elm Street 3.

She's also going to be in the new spinoff of CSI: Cyber. Am not a too big fan of CSI but I'll give this new one a try since she's in it.

But yeah her performance in Boyhood was pretty darn awesome.

Lego Movie might have been disqualified because of the live-action segments at the end.

But who cares really, the animated features category is always a joke. Kaguya should have won easily.

I was shielded from the stupidity of the Oscars until I saw that.

Once again, I can't wait until Hollywood goes bankrupt.
