Yankees got Ichiro for 2 prospects.
Tigers got Omar Infante and Anibal Sanchez for some shitty SP and 2 minor leaguers
Braves are close to getting Ryan Dempster. They did get Ben Sheets and he has made 2 scoreless starts.

Zack Greinke is on the Angels now.
What is with everyone trading big names for basically nothing?

Angels sent 3 of their top prospects! Just because they're not gonna play now doesn't mean they won't help long-term
Plus, Greinke's contract is up at the end of the year. Considering he turned down the Brewers' offer for $20 million a YEAR, it's gonna be hard for even a team like the Angels to resign him especially with all the money that's getting sucked up by Pujols. So he's basically a RENTAL
I hate to see him go from my Brewers but I think they made the right move since we're clearly not going anywhere this year. And his undefeated record at Miller Park stays alive!

What I read didn't say they were prospects. One was a rookie SS and 2 AA pitchers. They usually say if they are. I assume they must be though. The Hanely trade is was so lop sided in my opinion.

I actually like the Brewers. Hopefully Yovani can get more consistent.

Go Cardinals! We are going to make another historic playoff run.

I personally couldn't care less, except to hope that Boston continues to lose like the goshawful losers that they are. |

Brewers just need to overhaul their bullpen. If we had a decent bullpen this year we'd be in the running still, but it's been god-awful

The Braves were in line to get Zack too but it fell apart. It would have been nice to have him even if it was for the year. The Braves really need to get another SP. Jurrjens has been horrible and they moved him to long relief. Ben Sheets is doing good. He has only gave up one run in his first 18 inning with the Braves. Beachy is done for the season and had a 2.00 era. Hanson is struggling now.
They are one of the 2 wild cards right now but they need to make a move. lol The Pirates have the other spot at the moment.

I am happy now. Maddux and Glavine will be joining Bobby in going to the Hall of Fame this year. I live pretty close to Cooperstown and will definitely be going.

Surely this isn't our only MLB topic (: . We must've had one for last season
Maybe it's time to make one for the '14 season

From what I remember baseball didn't really get much interest unless the Red Sox were in the World Series. Football was the big one here. | Domo Arigato Paco Roboto
