Cannot believe there's no thread on this, but I must discuss this with someone.

Really one of my favourite MCU movies. Might even be better than Avengers for me. The story was well thought out, the whole HYDRA infiltrating S.H.I.E.D from the beginning was pretty badass and changes the whole scenario going forward. Without SHIELD things will be different. I'm certain there's some SHIELD and some HYDRA left over but with the Avengers: Age of Ultron coming up, everything will be different. I loved the introduction to the Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver end sequence and I think the villain for Age of Ultron was the one holding them prisoner. Things will obviously be very different with SHIELD gone for everyone else's stories.

Just saw it and didn't care for it much tbh

I loved it and it's my favorite Marvel film so far but I'm sure I'll find things to dislike about it eventually. I nitpicked the crap out of The Avengers after some time had gone by.

"you're right, i'm not.."
then what does he say

I feel like you can say that for ALOT of movies and tv shows nowadays, not just in terms of dialogue but plot twists and narratives.

That, or maybe I watch too much TV.

Yeah I don't get how that's a complaint. Good Cop/Bad Cop is one of the oldest routines out there and that's always bound to be a scenario that plays out in those sort of team ups.

It's not any better or worse than Batman saying the shit he says in Nolan's movies.

It's a complaint because it's corny and cliche

yeah tlg you can't just excuse something because it's typical. that makes repeat occurrences even more offensive

lol I predicted that too, and yeah a lot of these marvel movies have predictable lines at times.
