This is pretty cool. Apparently HBO released a bunch of animated shorts narrated by the actors from the POV of their characters, all about the history of Westeros. Someone spliced them all together and threw music over it

This makes me really want a prequel about Aerys Targaryen. He's such a nut. Him killing Ned's father and brother is crazy

I think it would be a rare occasion were the prequels would be just as good as the original series with GoT.

Seeing Robert rebellion, Jamie killing Aerys etc, that's stuff I want to see! Maybe in flashbacks on the show, but that would be difficult to do without it feeling out of place. I have no doubt if they finish the series without any hitches, a prequel would be very likely somewhere down the line.
