"I never made a conscious decision to have the club become one thing or another. It just happened before my eyes. Each savage event was a catalyst for the next. And by the time the violence reached epic proportion, I couldn't see it. Blood was every color."
- John Thomas 'JT' Teller
After one final puff from a cigarette, a pair of hands reach down to an old collection of papers resting at his feet.
The Life and Death of Sam Crow: How the Sons of Anarchy Lost Their Way
By John Thomas Teller
Jax Teller sits alone atop the Teller-Morrow Automotive Repair garage, overlooking a motorcycle-littered parking lot below him. Thumbing through the manuscript he possesses, his eyes intensify with understanding at every word he reads. The journal rested in Jackson's hands is that of his father, JT, who founded the club he now serves as Vice President of in 1968. The Sons of Anarchy were formed as what one might compare to a hippie commune on motorcycles. Over the years, it evolved into something much darker. SAMCRO is now a violent, bloodthirsty gang specializing in gun running.
John put his fears into writing, creating a journal to vent his regrets over what his beloved club had become. John himself was murdered under mysterious circumstances in 1993. Since then, John's original vision has been lost in time. John's former best friend, Clay Morrow, went on to become Club President and married his widow, Gemma. Though a good and respected leader, Clay's ideas are quite clearly different from the former President.
It was but a few weeks ago that Jax found his father's writings buried in a box with old photos and documents, doing not much else than collecting dust for all these years. But upon finding this discovery, his eyes have done very little when not focused on this manuscript.
"Hey, Prince!"
A voice echos down from below. Jax quickly rolls the papers into a cylinder and stuffs them in a pocket on his cutte. As he peaks down below, the lurching President of SAMCRO himself - Clay Morrow - stands below. The rest of the club are seen heading to their bikes, a look of sorrow on their faces as they put on their helmets and rev up their bikes. Clay shouts up once more to his stepson.
"Come pay your respects, son."
The club is off to a funeral. A gun deal has recently gone terribly wrong and a Club Prospect, "Filthy" Phil Russell, was tragically caught in the crossfire. This unfortunately is an example of just one of the many unnecessary deaths caused directly by the Son's bloody hand in the pockets of gun runners.
As Clay turns his back and heads to his Harley, Jax nods his head and softly whispers under his breath, looking at his father's manuscript once more.
"It's time, dad. I will make you proud."
Lynch Free or Die: A Sons of Anarchy Mafia
Alright friends! With half the mafia queue putting their stuff on delay, it appears I am next in line. I planned this all out about a month ago and everything is pretty much ready. I am, however, going to give about a week for this to fill in so I can double check everything in the meantime as this did come on incredibly short notice.
I designed this game for 25 or more roles. I realize that's an optimistic goal for an unknown host and questionable theme, but I'm hopeful we can reach it regardless. If not, I know exactly what to cut.
As usual with theme games, no knowledge of the show is necessary whatsoever. Going by potential themes, this is one I knew I could excel in. All flavor will be written in the style of the show, but will be written in a way for all to understand. If you know the show - great. But if you don't, as I presume most won't, do not let that discourage you from signing up!
Now let's get this thing on the road. Tell your friends and family.
