I love this game and think we need a thread detailing our terrible adventures.

I want this game

I wanted it but didn't want to pay for it, so I borrowed it from a friend. It is hard for me to grasp and I'm stuck in a house where this dude's wife is trying to kill me and shooting arrows at me from the staircase.

This is exactly why everyone should buy this game

^ I never understood that death animation at all.

I had to abandon my original save due to the stupid way I was leveling up my Breton, specializing in warrior skills at first and then deciding I wanted to be a mage.

I'm playing a level 20-something Redguard at the moment, specializing in heavy armor, one handed and block. I'm also trying to get my Archery up since I'm trying to completely abstain from magic, but I'm absolute balls at it. Though I am using my fire breath shout to make up for it.

I got the Hearthfire DLC on this playthrough, which has been really cool. Building your own house is pretty sweet. I also love the new follower that comes with it, Rayya. She's a Redguard who can duel wield, which is fucking awesome. I gave her two enchanted axes to work with, one that does fire damage and one that does ice damage. Bitch is a beast. While I was working on my archery and missing everything in sight, she'd run into hordes of enemies and just slice them up in a few shots.

I joined the Stormcloaks on this playthrough, which I didn't on my original. It's interesting how much the story changes based off this decision. I just wrecked Whiterun during an invasion which killed several townspeople and changed the look of the town permanently with a ton of wrecked buildings. If you join the Imperials, you defend Whiterun and it stays as is. I didn't get very far in the Civil War story arch on my original playthrough so I'm really looking forward to seeing what else I'm going to end up destroying.

I saw a ghost the other night but couldn't catch up to it.

Was it the Headless Horseman?

I didn't get close enough to see the rider, but it was a ghost on a ghost horse.

Yup it was him.

Yeah, that's him, it's the same ton where I found him and it's near that old temple where you fight some tough wizard guy where you get some cool looking sword for beating him.

I was supposed to be going to clear out Wolfskull Cave and I got really lost.
