The remaining three tried to push Curtis up the stairs.

"Haaahaaaha...no." Curtis replied. "You can all three go first!"

Curtis took a step back off of the stairwell and pushed the three up ahead. The three looked at the door, then one another, then gulped. They stood side by side and took each step carefully. The boards creaked loudly beneath their feet.

As they got closer, they noticed something strange about the door at the top. It was clawed up. Chips of wood were spread out around the stairs. The door was in terrible condition.

A dim light emitted from the bottom of the doorway. It seemed to be from a flickering candle. As they took another step closer, the light went out completely.

Curtis looked up from the bottom of the steps anxiously. He heard a noise behind him spun around. He looked down the long hidden passage he was standing in, but no one was there. He looked back up the stairwell at the three.

They were at the top now. Shadow as closest to the knob and reached his hand towards it.

Beneath the door, a familiar fog escaped through the space at the bottom of the door. A gust of it appeared, but was sucked back in underneath the door, like a back draft. A bit of the fog seeped through the keyhole below Shadow's hand as well.

Shadow gripped the cold knob, looked at KC and Natalie, and turned it. The door pushed open.

Darkness. That's all that could be seen. KC tried his flashlight, but it refused to turn on. Curtis followed up behind them curiously.

They stepped further into the attic. It was extremely cold up there, colder than anywhere else in the house. All they could see was their breath in front of them.

Shadowcat jumped down from Shadow's arms and hissed at something. The hair on her back stood up straight as she took a few steps backwards. Shadow tried to pick her up, but she hissed some more and ran down the basement steps out of fear. She sensed something she didn't like.

"shadowcat pls!" Shadow yelled out.

As the silence broke, something came alive in the attic. The windows burst open and the thick fog rolled back in. It surrounded the three as Curtis placed his back up against the side of the wall, avoiding it.

The three were lifted up in swirls of dark grey fog, only something was different about this one. Flashes of images appeared throughout the fog, but only for a moment at a time. The images were fleeting glimpses of people. The three tried to make out who they were looking at.

"It's.....us.." Natalie said, confused.

They looked closer into the fog. A flash appeared of the fourteen of them, alive and well, getting off of the bus during their arrival here.

They looked on in wonder as they watched the events from FE Manor unfold before them. They saw Boc get dragged into an open grave, Matt turning into a possessed demon, Rob rapidly aging in horror, Zersch as a werewolf pouncing on Bryce, and Frankenvern get torn apart by the living dead. It was all there. The entire journey.

The three realized their noses were bleeding profusely. The images sped up and flashed brighter and brighter as the fog pushed them closer to the swirling flashes of light and images. A high frequency noise emitted from the fog, causing Curtis to place his palms against his ears. He tried to shield his eyes from the bright light at the same time.

Suddenly, it stopped. The sound died down in a second and the light dimmed to pitch darkness again. Curtis opened his eyes and looked around the room for the other three.

They were gone.

Elimination Quest



- Each of you will relieve past experiences. You have several tasks to complete. If you come in first in a task, you receive two points. Second place receives one point, and third place receives zero points. The person with the least amount of points after all of the tasks will be eliminated.

- You'll do each of these via PM. Do them all at once, or piece by piece. Doesn't matter.

- You have 24 hours, but if you could finish by tonight, the final night can begin tonight and end tomorrow on Halloween.

The First Night

- Each of you has been give 10 extra candies, but you must leave some by Paul's grave. Whoever leaves the least will lose the challenge. But if one person leaves the most by themselves, they will lose instead. Tie will be broken by order sent in.

The Third Night

- Every thirty minutes, via PM to me, you can pull one of your two opponents' switch. Each switch sends 500 Volts through that person's body. Once someone receives 2000 Volts, they are unknowingly eliminated. Once you believe you've eliminated one person, you must still eliminate the other. Last person standing wins the two points.

The Sixth Night

- Each of you has NINE voodoo pins. You must choose how to spread out your pins via PM to me. You must put at least one pin on each opponent. Furthermore, you can block three pins from either opponent. You can block all three from one person, or two from one person and one from the other. Send your decision to me. The person with the least pins will come in first. The person with the most will receive no points.

The Eighth Night

- You're back in Paul's bedroom, attempting to crawl away from the door that's sucking you in. Send me a list of 20 actions. Move, Hold, Attack. However, you're eliminated as soon as you're successfully attacked without holding TWICE.

The Ninth Night

- Below is a series of winding hallways. Send me your path through them. There are several traps throughout. The person who hits the least amount of traps will win.

As Curtis stood alone in the attic and searched through the darkness, the three were swirling in a fog full of flashes of images and past memories. The three were levitating within the fog as their eyes began to turn white. The high pitched frequency continued, but they were unable to reach their hands up to cover their ears.

Suddenly, they were transported from the attic. Physically, they were still there, but mentally they were elsewhere. They began in the graveyard, where this all started.

They witnessed the events unfold before them. First they saw Boc, alone in the cemetery, devoid of all candy. They followed him through the graveyard. Natalie called out to him to warn him, causing Boc to turn towards the faint sound. It was nothing but an echo to him. When he followed it, he encountered the little girl who led him to his own tomb.

Shadow, Natalie, and KC were forced to relive the event and found themselves leaving behind candy once again. One of them would suffer the same fate as Boc...

They flashed ahead, and were now inside of FE Manor. They were in the room were Lamps was electrocuted, but this time, on his side of the glass. They looked through the sound proof glass and saw themselves, staring back towards them. As Lamps fried to death, new switches were there for Natalie, KC, and Shadow. The three couldn't stop themselves from flipping each others' switches. Volts of electricity shocked through all three, but which would fry last?

Another flash ahead. This time they were in the basement, standing around the voodoo chalk symbol. Demonic Matt was suffering his fate as the three reached for each others' doll's. They once worked together on this. Now, they were jabbing sharp pins into each other.

They found themselves in Paul's iconic grand bedroom, once again. The door to his makeshift medical room was thrust open as papers and furniture were thrust around the room. They tried to hang on, and fought against one another to stay alive. One would end up being sucked through the door, along with Korr.

A final flash, slightly into the future. They were exiting Paul's room and found themselves running behind Kiwi in a series of confusing and shifting hallways. One found themselves trapped in the hallway with Kiwi as the walls moved in. Just before the walls could crush them completely...

WHOOOOSH..

They were back. They dropped down onto the attic floor with a heavy thud. Curtis rushed over and began to help them up, when he realized that one was still suspended mid air...

It was Natalie.

Her eyes were still white as she was lifted before Shadow and KC in the fog. She was still reliving the memories, but at an alarming rate. The three on the ground could see the effect that it was having on her. Her body turned bloody and bruised. It became clear what was happening...she was experiencing the trauma that the eleven before her did.

First, she was thrust into an open grave and buried alive. Dirt filled into the corner of her mouth until she could no longer breath. Next, she was being sucked into the waist deep bloody water along with Vic. Blood filled her lungs as she coughed it up on the attic floor. The room then brightened up as electric shocks shot through her body. Then, her mind traveled to the bottom of the well with Perry, while her body stayed put in the attic. Her arm was torn off at the shoulder before Curtis, Shadow, and KC. It dropped to the ground before them and eroded away quickly.

She then began to age, and very rapidly. She was looking into the face of pure horror, as Rob did. Her body then flung from wall to wall, ceiling to floor, as her voodoo doll was dropped and beaten.

Shadow stood and tried to pull her down. He reached his hand out, but it was sliced on something within the fog before it got too close. He grasped as his hand and fell back onto the floor.

Natalie's arm was suddenly scratched up by an invisible force. It was werewolf Zersch, inflicting the same pain on her as he did to Bryce. A razor thin slice then formed across her belly as her intestines spilled out, much like Korr's in the operating room.

Natalie's body was broken and bruised, but the worst was yet to come. Her body began to compress, as if two walls were moving in on her.

A chunk of flesh was ripped from her neck as she began to scream uncontrollably. "I AM CANDYLAND!! HAHAHA! I AM CANDYYYLAAAAAND!!!!"

A buzzing sound started up as her waist began to slice in half before the groups' eyes. Her bottom half dropped to the ground and decayed to dust very suddenly. The rest of her beaten body poured blood down on the remaining two. The fog continued to encapsulate her. As it did, her corpse slowly turned to black ash. Flakes of ash were carried away with the fog, as it dispersed completely. When it was gone, so was Natalie.
