There's a part of FE that needs to change. It is so ugly, so off-putting, that it turns away 100+ new users each day on average. It's in desperate need of a facelift

Post alternative pictures that could be used for the General Discussion forum. We'll go with the best one posted in this thread
While we're at it, if there's any other old icon that you have a better idea for, feel free to suggest it. Icons should change every so often to freshen things up | |

I get so many IMs a day from people letting me know they checked out FE, saw the general discussion icon and closed their browser down in disgust.
One of them even told me he would never visit a forum again.
