Favorite Christmas Movie? We usually watch a Christmas movie on Christmas Eve in my family. Pick your top three.

my three:

1. Tokyo Godfathers - anime I watched for the first time a couple years ago and was blown away, so funny and heartfelt. It's about a found family of hobos in Tokyo during Christmas. Firmly in the rotation now
2. Christmas Vacation. This is my family's go-to and it's still p funny despite having watched it like 10-20 times
3. Elf - idk I just like Will Ferrell. Weird that this is the "newest" bona fide classic yet it's over 20 years old now. Same case with Christmas songs too. Where's the NEW stuff!

honorable mentions to Nightmare Before Christmas, Christmas Story, and...The Green Knight!

I'm referring more to cultural impact, like I'm sure there've been more than a few good holiday movies between Elf and now, but will they still be talked about in a couple decades? idk

My fave is The Family Stone but I knew no one else would vote for it. Our Christmas movie this year will be Home Alone.
