"...And then they lynched him! Just like that! Took out his compass, stomped on it, spit on his corpse, it was a whole scene." Lamps relayed the day's events to his captive audience.

Seated across from him at his firepit were an array of crudely constructed, vaguely humanoid shapes made of leaves and rocks.

"What would you have done, Edward?" Lamps asked the handsomest of all the rock statues. Edward's rock face stared blankly back at him.

"Sigh...yeah...you're so right..." Lamps trailed off just before he heard a most curious sound. Something like a twig being stepped on?

"Who goes there??" Lamps called out, but received no answer. "You guys heard that too right?"

His statues once again said nothing, but if you squinted hard enough their blank expressions almost looked...worried? At least, that's what Lamps saw in the moment.

"...b-behind me?" Lamps asked Edward, who had no mouth and could not scream as he witnessed his creator's throat get unceremoniously slit. The killer tossed his corpse into the firepit as they left the commune.

Lamps, TOWN (Char Commune), has been killed.
Once per night, you may attempt to recruit someone. If they are TOWN, they will join your commune and you will be able to talk freely with them. If they are NON-TOWN, you will die. You may have up to three members in your commune at any one time.

Meanwhile, Nav casually strutted down the street, whistling as he went. His stride was cut short, however, by a bullet through the head.

"Ow" he lamented as his vision began to fade.

But a few moments later, miraculously, he felt right as rain! He dusted himself off and sprang back to his feet as he continued his strutting and whistling as if nothing happened.

Nav has survived an attack.

"A clue! Another clue!" Rose exclaimed excitedly as she examined the events of the night. "Oh, I can't wait to discuss with the town and bring these killers to justice!"

Unfortunately for her, the night's festivities had not quite ended. Another killer waddled up and uncreatively pulled a gun on her.

Met with her imminent demise, Rose just couldn't take the stress as she began to clutch at her heart.

"My...my pills...I need..."

"Can I get you a glass of water or something? Are you having some kind of medical emergency?" the killer asked as they partially lowered their gun.

"Nah, I'm...as good as it gets..." she sputtered weakly.

"I’m afraid we’re wasting our time, and I’m an extremely busy man, as I’m sure you are too." the killer shrugged as they casually pumped a few rounds into her chest.

"Will I be a... ghost now?" her scrambled inner thoughts pondered.

"You already *were* a ghost. Up there, screaming — along with all of them. Scaring each other. Haunting each other. It's the living who are ghosts. The dead are silent. They don't rattle windows or write letters in blood. The living do. Leave them behind. Rest."

An odd sense of peace flashed across Rose's face as she took this final thought with her to her premature grave.

Rose, TOWN (the Coupris Kineema from Disco Elysium), has been killed.
She may not look like much, but she's got plenty of tricks up her sleeve!
