Since people like these type of shows I thought I would post about it here incase you guys have never heard of it since it is an Australian show. There's three episodes so far. I'm gonna start it tonight and see if it's any good.

"Twenty four strangers arrive at an old hotel as "Faithful" contestants – hoping to share a prize fund worth up to A$250,000 in silver bars.[3] Amongst them are the "Traitors" – a group of four contestants whose goal is to eliminate the Faithfuls and claim the prize for themselves. Should the Faithful contestants eliminate all the Traitors, they will share the prize fund but if a Traitor makes it to the end, they steal the money.

In each two-day cycle, the Traitors convene in Traitor Tower and decide upon one Faithful contestant to "murder" – and that person will leave the game immediately. The remaining Faithful contestants will not know who has been eliminated until the next morning, when they will not come down for breakfast. The group then take part in a challenge to win money for the prize fund, before individually voting in the Banishment Room for the one person they believe to be a Traitor. That person – regardless of their affiliation – is banished from the game and must reveal their affiliation."

We’ve had 2 or 3 seasons of that here. It was decent.

The game here was very ‘vanilla’, and they had challenges that were pretty pointless and had very little to do with the main game element of traitors vs good guys. The finale of the first season was a flop since the traitor and a good guy who were besties in the game were given the option to split the money and of course they did lol. The second season they improved their finale concept.

Our cast was much smaller than 24 - I can imagine with a cast that large it will be more entertaining.

lol that’s funny, just heard about it this morning and bookmarked it. Also another show called The Great Escape which I think is like brainy escape rooms. I just started The Genius finally and saw a list of similar shows

This sounds fun. Interesting that the audience knows who the traitors are. I’ll have to check it out

I didn't know that we were gonna know who the traitors were straight up. I'm not sure if I'm liking it that way because it's fun to try and guess but I don't mind it.

I watched all three episodes. It's interesting but I wonder what would happen if all the "traitors" were found out in the first 4 episodes lmao. Anyway I'm gonna continue watching.

I was shook at Marielle voting Angus but I understood her predicament. I'm just glad it didn't cause him to leave but hopefully it takes the suspicion away from her. The editing made it seem like he was toast. Even tho it does seem obvious, they need to take our Midy or Mark since they are too smart. I'm leaning towards Mark since there are a few people who still find Midy sus. That's it really. Teresa makes me lol

The finale is this Sunday. I think it is worth to watch despite some questionable things. I really enjoyed watching and will miss the show.

The UK version has started and so far I'm liking it. It's similar to the Australian one (which is prolly similar to the Dutch version) but they did add a few new things which was interesting. I feel like the cast is so emotional and it's only a few days in!

Aus s1 is soo good, haven’t watched aus s2 but heard it was a flop. uk1 is also a standout - the characters in aus1 and uk1 are just great.

Slowly making my way through usa2 and uk2 - stopped watching canada1 after a couple episodes, it was meh

lol Chloe is so weird. Refusing to speak, then dropping four traitor names, then immediately leaving the table. What on earth Pretty fun that she nailed 2/4 though

Great ep, the fallout from Chloe’s bombshell was really fun. Angus is a pretty bad traitor and played it horribly but I’m shocked that they didn’t pounce on Marielle’s “four traitors” slip up. She wasn’t all that great either. Still thought for sure Angus was leaving this ep. Also Chloe walking is so lame lol Mark’s vote wasn’t even revealed? They just revealed that it had tied lol, that was really weird My favorite traitor is definitely Nigel. I think Claire is pretty good too I love the 4/5 people who we have never once heard from and are glossed over when they enter breakfast lol

Who the fuck is PAUL? I want a retrospective episode towards the end that shows every mastermind move Paul has been up to from the start. The true puppet master RIP Angus. The traitor reveals are always pretty fun. I’m glad he left, it was time to move on to new stuff tbh. Still kinda wish it was Theresa though, she’s annoying Also the whole Fi/Angus situation with hearing him say he was gonna murder Nigel was so stupid lol. I hated that, Fi’s logic made absolutely no sense. Why would a traitor say that to the entire group, he was obviously joking about drowning Nigel The challenges remain the worst part of the show across any season. They’re so useless. They’re better with shields introduced but not by much. They need to totally scrap these types of challenges and make it more like…The Genius or something, more social of brain games. Playing for a prize pot doesn’t add anything to the show at all and doesn’t fit or support the theme? Like no behavior during challenges can point back to someone being a faithful or a traitor or anything. At least make the challenges be centered around trust/mistrust 🤷🏻‍♂️

lol Matt was such an idiot. But Theresa and Fi are awful too. Their faces when Matt said he was faithful were priceless. Unfortunately their edits are big and they’re probably sticking around for awhile longer Really like Kate, glad she’s following in Mark’s footsteps even though her reads are currently odd I swear Paul must’ve been revealed as an infamous Australian serial killer after taping finished because they are going out of their way to bury this guy lol. It’s so weird Also the way Theresa walks into breakfast each time pisses me off

!!! PAUL CONFESSIONAL !!! This man didn’t say a word until final SEVEN. That’s crazy lol I wish they gave Alex more screen time pre recruitment. She’s coming out of nowhere as a potential winner, she’s playing great Kate is also very good. That Marielle blindside was great. Theresa is still obnoxious, she keeps taking credit for Mark and Kate and others’ work and reads, it’s happened so many times I’m only halfway through ep 10 but nervous for my guy Nigel. He’s been playing it very well but should’ve voted out Marielle. Kate is gonna screw him fursure Edit. Yup! Poor Nigel. He was playing great but his downfall was so swift. It was hard to see the whole group against him, I would’ve loved to see him win It’s weird seeing all four OGs gone and just the recruit remaining EDIT. Another recruit?? This late? That’s kinda crazy. She’s definitely picking Kate
