It was wild. Not my favorite Deadpool movie but I can't say I wasn't entertained by the constant (berserker) barrage of fan service.

I didn't really care for the first two but I surprisingly mostly enjoyed this? Not much I'll remember in a day or two but it was a fun ol time in the theaters. 6/10!

the reject characters showing up definitely was the most fun part of this. The only ones I was spoiled on were Elektra and X-23 (the latter was for some reason spoiled by the ads anyway). Blade and Gambit were the biggest scene stealers
even though I had no love for most of the FOX movies (and haven't even seen any of the original X-Men trilogy) that mid-credit montage had me feeling a lil emotional for some reason?? That was cute!
I was a bit surprised how they left it where Deadpool (and Wolverine) are back in their universe instead of joining the MCU proper, though obviously they left it very open for them to flit back and forth again in the future. But idk, I'm ready for it to go back to a single timeline already. Part of me was rooting for Tom Wambsgans / Nova to prune those timelines! |
