best ep of the season DESPITE the lack of Bernard. They finally dispatched with the endless puzzle boxes and actually told...a story that you could mostly understand! WOAH!

The execution is still wayyy lacking compared to the early seasons and the best bits are mostly just calling back to the brilliance of S1. BUT I'm still enjoying it enough, definitely a big step up from S3

The "CHAIR!" bit was genuinely funny. I've been annoyed with cartoon villain Dolores since like S2 but if they're gonna get THIS mustacle-twirling with her that's fine with me
