Multiplayer locks:
Super Smash Bros Melee
Mario Kart
Goldeneye
Battlefield 2 & 3
Those are easily my favorite multiplayer gaming experiences all a various points in my life. Battlefield in college with my friends might take the cake
And actually, I would add F13 The Game with the fine folks of FE. Those were some of the funnest gaming nights
