Now for something a little lighter than all the killing people questions.
A wizard turns you in an animal!
As an animal you still retain all your memories and thought processes.
But you in form you will be a cat or a dog.
So what will you be?
A cat?
...or a dog? | |

Cat, they have no responsibility and their biggest decision is where to take the next nap.
To own, I'd rather have a dog, but we have a demon cat from hell instead. :\ | A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something. But by enduring that pain and overcoming it, he shall obtain a powerful, unmatched heart. A fullmetal heart. |

Dogs look like they usually have more fun though. Cats usually just appear lazy and bored

And being a house cat would suck, being stuck indoors everyday for your whole life. Most dogs usually go outside on walks or to parks or even VACATIONS (:
I vote dog | |

Definitely a cat. Dogs have pretty depressing lives really. Insofar as the house cat thing goes, that would probably suck more but if you're an outdoors cat you pretty much have free reign of a wide area.
They don't exactly travel much but they still roam their patch and lead pretty adventurous lives for animals who spend most of their time sleeping and lazing around.

ye my cats are always outside hunting and jumping over fences and doing all kinds of random shit.
That being said our dogs have a pretty good life to, but they are just more physically limited to cats from my experience.

I agree with most of the above.
I would rather own a dog but I'd rather be a cat. Plus, most people I know just let their cat roam wherever and when it comes to the door they let it back in. Dogs don't get that reign because they never return.
But I think if you retain your thoughts etc....it wouldn't really matter. You could be a non-lazy cat or an independent dog...so I'm not sure it matters, but cats are more agile and better at landing on their feet.
I think keeping your thoughts and memories makes it hard to really know if there would be a difference between the two. But my dog just sat on the top of the couch and looked out the window all day. The only thing that got him off was opening a bag of food....

Cat!
Dog lives are pretty boring too, and unless you are a tiny yippy dog, you usually have a lot less house to body ratio.
Plus if a dog knocks shit off a table, it gets yelled out. If a cat knocks something off a table, it becomes an internet sensation.
