In the year 2286, the previously fabled dream of time travel has finally become a reality. A group of researchers calling themselves the Arcana organization are perfecting time-bending mechanisms that will allow humans to travel up to millions of years back in time in order to investigate some of the greatest and most pervasive historical mysteries to have plagued humankind. Being launched into the unknown with no guarantee of ever returning is not a prospect many are able to cope with, but the researchers know there are some out there who are crazy and curious enough to seek out the experience. As a result, the Arcana organization are conducting preparatory "test runs" on the brave souls who wish to be considered for captaincy of the dangerous time-hopping missions.

Season 8 of Arcana saw past trialists trialists returning to contend with the dangers of the Wild West on the American Frontier. The season was a grueling side against side battle that ultimately resulted in Freida walking away from high noon victorious. After nearly two years, Arcana is back to investigate the mysteries of Yonaguni island, deep in the heart of Japan. In 1986, a group of divers discovered a monument of a forgotten city laid to rest on the ocean floor just off the coast of the island. For this test run, we will be diving into the sea and into the mythical world of Yonaguni-jima to discover the truth behind the ruins. But this crop of trialists won't be travelling alone. For the second time in history, each of our 24 trialists will be accompanied by a loved one - a partner to stand by their side in the pursuit of the dangers and mysteries that await them at the bottom of the ocean. Whether these bonds will help or harm them in the journey along the way remains unknown for now.





All are welcome to apply to the inaugural season of our third generation, including past players from both generation I and II of Arcana, but players who are new to the series will be given precedence. This season will be BLOOD VS. WATER, so you will be applying as a duo.
