Before the sun can even rise above the mighty Karakoram, you are rudely awaken by a loud explosion. It's so loud, that your entire house shakes briefly, while some object fall from their displays on your shelves and bookcases. You quickly rise from your bed, throw on some clothes and head outside to investigate. Just down the street, you can see smoke and dust rising from the ground, and notice others gathering around to check it out as well.
"Who's house was this?" someone asked.
"Not sure" another person replied. "I don't see any obvious markings on it to say for certain."
So, the small group decided to slowly make their way into the rubble to see if they could find any survivors. It didn't take long, before they found the upper torso of Farlig sticking out from what looked to be part of the front door and maybe part of a wall of the house. As they lifted up the door, they quickly realized the rest of him was not present in that location. Not at all what any of you wanted to see first thing in the morning.

Player: Farlig
Role: Kashmiri Councilman (Town)
Ability: Player targets two players at night. Those two players are informed that they can not target each other with votes or actions for the following day/night phase. If the action were to fail on any one target, it will fail for all targets.
Win Condition: Eliminate all threats to the Kashmiri

Shortly after moving the door out of the way, and after watching the paramedics remove the remaining pieces of Farlig, one of the group spotted something that caught their eye.
"Is that...another head???" they asked, not sure if they wanted the answer or not.
Sure enough, just below the blown-apart remains of Farlig sat what you could only surmise was the head and left shoulder blade of what looked to be Herm. He looked like he had been pretty close to Farlig when the bomb went off, and must have gotten caught up in it as well.

Player: Herm
Role: Iranian Shia Martyr (Unaligned)
Ability: Player is not happy with the expansion of Sunni Muslim teachings into the Kashmir valley region. Player wins if they are killed at night, but player loses if they die by any other means. Each night, player can choose to stay in their residence or choose to visit a target (effectively a hider action). If the target they visit is killed, they will also be killed. The game will not end when the player meets their win (or loss) condition.
Win Condition: Be killed at night.

Just when the group thought they were done, one member who had wandered off, yelled out to them.
"I think I found another body over here!" he said with a bit of excitement.
"Why would anyone be excited about finding more dead bodies?" you wondered to yourself, but decided to check it out anyways.
The group slowly made their way around the debris towards the back of the house. There, sandwiched between the metal frame of a bed and what looked to be the back wall of the house sat an impaled and bloody corpse of Vern. It wasn't until the bed frame was lowered that you could see why the initial finder was excited.

Player: Vern
Role: Pakistani General (Mafia)
Ability: If player is targeted by any other players during the night, they will learn who visited them. Additionally, player has a 1x "ninja" ability when carrying out the factional kill where they will kill via drone strike (i.e. the kill doesn't count as a visiting action). Player must specify if they are using the drone strike when submitting the factional kill action.
Win Condition: Eliminate all threats to the Pakistanis and have 50% (or greater) of the remaining players.

It is now Day 2. Day 2 will end at 9 PM ET on Thursday. With 10 players alive, it'll take 6 votes for an elimination.
