this looks like a throwback to quirky sidekick Awkwafina tho which is p annoying

This honestly doesn't even look like a Marvel movie lol (besides the typical Marvel dialogue at the end). Which I guess is a good thing? But this still looks kinda whatever to me

i saw it last night and absolutely loved it

the early fight is beautiful. the bus fight scene and the fighting club action scene are both very well choreographed. the climactic battle is great when its martial arts of the lead and the villain. the one low point is the final CGI battle between dragons. that felt like a letdown. the actual ten rings are really cool and the way they utilize them feels a lot like DC's green lantern (at least to me) overall def a very high quality movie not just within the MCU.

thought this kinda stunk!

Awkwafina was dangerously approaching Kat Dennings level of annoying in this

god that arrow thing was so telegraphed. I seriously don't get why her shooting that one arrow makes her...an Avenger now? huh???

The action was pretty good but I feel like that's where they poured most of their focus. The characters were all really thinly drawn, didn't really care much about any of them by the end
