another QUICK one that Curt and I are catching up on
I watched the pilot when it first came out but never continued, don't remember why. Just knocked out S1 in the past few days

didn't LOOOVE it but it def had its moments / was well-written. The emotional connection with the flashbacks is what sells it, told a nice little concise story and it developed Fleabag (I just now realized she's never addressed by name, wowee) well in a p short period of time. That scene in the cafe at the end paid off the journey v nicely
Olivia Colman is perfectly hateable in her role
BAUMAN (idk the actor's name) is fun as the insufferable husband as well
I've heard S2 is where it REALLY gets good so I'm excited about that
I mean Brett Gelman is the real worst. He is way too good at playing that type of character. I'm glad he wasn't absolutely detestable in Stranger Things for once
dun. Gooood shit. I liked S1 but wasn't blown away, but S2 (almost?) lived up to the hype

Fleabag's confession monologue was so good, probably my favorite scene of the series?
not sure how I felt about the part that came after tbh!
sounds like the show might be over entirely (especially based on that last shot)? p sad if so, but at least it ended strong. Waller-Bridge's performance in that bus stop break-up, DAMN!
Ep 6: The pencil eraser/people make mistakes line was so endearing
Surprisingly dark turn towards the end. But then a nice ending with the bank manager. Looking forward to s2, I hear it gets great and Andrew Scott is always good. Really solid s1 though
Loved this one. The broken award, her running around town for a replacement, Claire in general, the great Carrie period joke, and the end with the priest seeing her break the fourth wall. Fun stuff
