Albums is hard imo! Not too many awesome releases, so I don't have any lists ready. Songs is easier!
Favorite songs released in 2020
A Moment / Joy by Cold Weather Company is so simple, but really my favorite.
This is one of the most beautiful songs of the year IMO.
This song is also rly good and meaningful in times of universal deceit.
Favorite pre-2020 song -- there are too many. The Royal We by Silversun Pickups is probably my fav.

Favorite songs discovered on FE - Hurt is the winner for me. But I added about 15-20 new songs to my liked songs in the past year.

I discovered The Crane Wives and binged heavily on them early in January. I really dig their sound and lyrics and how difficult situations were turned into some great and memorable songs.
I make playlists for my D&D characters and there is probably a Crane Wives song in all of them at this point.
Cudi dropped Man on the Moon 3 this week and it's prob the only album I've listened to all the way through this year (: GOOD STUFF THO, would recommend for all the rap skeptics on this board
