But yeah oof, last night was brutal -_- Is there really any information on anyone ELSE that we get out of this? I mean Curtis is the typical N1 attack at this point so I don't think we can really learn something from that one; Paco probably saved someone else so we don't know for sure who THAT target was; Buffy was probably a role-related death. Anything?

What sucks is no one has come forward with anything to help us out. I know it's dangerous to claim this early but we need something to work with so if anyone did anything with a role can we get a little bit of a lead?

What's funny is when I saw that Ari was the latest post, I KNEW it was him FoSing my post. Never change, Ari.

Seriously though, Ari do you have ANY better suggestions or would you rather we just sit here and be in constant day-1 mode while we let the mafia pick us off at this rapid pace?

Out of the surviving train members, I'm probably most suspicious of Greenday. He's got a bit of an overreaction to Ari's accusations, especially since, no offence, but you're kind of always mafia, Greenday, so it's not like such accusations are historically all that wrong.

To be honest, the "overreaction" is just a build-up of frustration of being FoSed by him LITERALLY every single day 2 of mafia games we've both been in together. It's ridiculous and I'm sick of it, and it's time for him to try something new instead of relying on that crutch all the time. As for the "always" mafia, a) it would be kind of unfair and OP for the mafia to gain a member from a latecomer, no? b) I've clearly gotta be town at SOME point, just by virtue of odds.

Just to clarify what I meant by unfair and OP, just because I was thinking about this a little the past few minutes: let's look at it from a numbers standpoint. Usually the mafia is about 1/4-1/5 of the entire cast (usually closer to 1/5) right? So wouldn't making the ONLY person coming in late a mafia member put that off-balance? I would think that based on the numbers it would only be fair for mafia to gain a new member if FOUR or FIVE people were joining late.

i find scum at 30%-35% to be more accurate. granted that is all scum and not just mafia. i could totally see adding a 3rd party of some kind as a last minute addition. i could even see it being a weak or vanilla mafia member if the host felt the mafia was a little under powered.

Regardless, whatever number Matt intended to be anti-town was what he set it up with at the ORIGINAL balance. Making me anti-town when I'm the only one who joined in late would offset that too much in favor of the scum.
