lol i'm kind of imagining Rodney on the Hustlers tribe and us having numerous confessionals of him talking about how he's hustlin and it's making my night | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

but yeah this season was pretty horrible and I'm happy it's over. Hyped for new faces with the next season! Despite the theme being stupid the cast looks amazing, it's all about the cast. <3 | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

Wait? Sorry, but I have a hard time seeing Second Chances as anything remotely good. Just like with this season - it had no consistent storyline and it was incredibly hard to keep track of everything that was going on episode to episode.
Sure it had Keith.
But it also had Kelly getting a worse than PK edit, and Spencer having 2000 of the same confessionals about 'self-growth' despite just being a year and a half inbetween Cagayan and SC. Whereas that would have worked better with Kelly/Kimmi considering it was 15 damn years inbetween their games. That would have been intriguing self-growth confessionals; instead they were ignored in favor of Spencer and self-righteous Tasha.
Jeremy was a good winner though. The season just left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Similarly to the way this season did. They are literally exact copies of each other.
That's why returnee seasons don't work with half-assed casts. | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

May be the case, but that was still no excuse to treat an OG like trash. She had been heavily requested to return for more than a decade at that point. She also leads a pretty interesting lifestyle that they could have explored upon and it doesn't excuse the fact that the edit showed clear bias and there wasn't anyone who felt multi-dimensional from that entire cast.
It isn't just because of the modern Survivor's obsession with 'strategies' and 'big movez', cause take Jay from MvGX for example - by far the most complex and layered personality to have come on the show since HvV. Noone in Cambodia even came close to having that sort of complexity.
A season where you aren't connected to the characters is a lackluster season imo. Cambodia is the definition of lackluster in my opinion. | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

Spencer/Tasha 2.0, underdeveloped cast members and inconsistent story lines is what ruined the season for me. | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'
