Curtis shouted out Farlig, Cherry, and Miko for being around but not voting Nofo. Weird that Miko had to be prodded by someone to cast a self-preservation vote. Maybe hoping there was a tie and thus a no lynch in the last minute rush?

🤔

I honestly didn't even know that was a thing when it was a tie, lol.

But anyways, just the fact that Dylan was so reluctant to claim his role after so many people were asking for it came off as suspicious to me. He did carry out his promise, but just thought I'd note to still keep an eye on him this round because something still seemed fishy to me.

I saw where the Nofo train was heading and what the reasoning for it was and I agreed, as he was acting a lot more quiet than usual. The main reasoning ofcourse being that I wanted to save myself.

But regardless I do believe we should for sure be looking at the people that were reluctant to vote for Nofo at the end (for the ones who were around then).

I just think Miko doesn't know what he's doing

Very much this.

In all my past games this is always my downfall, when you have a year and a half gap inbetween each game you forget all the roles and their functions (especially when you were just getting a grasp of everything the previous game), so it's always the same story with me; I say something stupid to not appear to be a lurker/follower but then I'm seen as suspicious and get lynched around d3/d5. Every, single, game.

I just suck with my consistency basis of when I play these games, the gaps are always so big that I technically come in as a newbie each time and make newbie mistakes every single time.

It's bad. I know.

yeah - this still applies tbh.

I SWEAR I am town! I've just been making some really stupid decisions!

plus, I just got back from work. Usually I can't check the board from 11PM the night before till 5PM the day of cause that's when I get home. My job is super high maintenance and I can't slack and look on an FE mafia game when I have clients around me who can have an aggressive behavior at any moment.

So, I'm sorry for slacking. :p

Yeah, I have nothing else to lose.

I'm town bulletproof. Once in the game if I calculate correctly I can block an attempted kill on me during the night.

What does calculate correctly mean?

Meaning I can only attempt to use it once. If I'm not targeted that night I basically wasted my only move in the game and can't attempt again some other time.

So I have to calculate the best time to use it so that it is actually effective.

I don't buy it.

Can you explain why?

It just seems weird that you would be BP but have to pick the right night.

Why does that seem weird? Is it common in mafia games that people who have BP actions can use it multiple times?

The description says you can pick only one night to use the BP vest, and only the actions that night against you are blocked.

Picking the night of using a BP active ability is done in Town Of Salem, so I could see Maddie implementing it here. I implemented a similar role in the game I just hosted.

But only allowing it to be activated one time seems weak - in Town of Salem it's a three time use ability. It could be that she just felt she stacked the town with strong roles already and intentionally made it weaker, but I'd think that there'd still be at least two activations?

Yeah, I initially also found it to be quite weak when I had first read about it. This for sure explains why.

The description clearly says 'once in the game' though. So I know I'm not reading it wrong either.

I honestly don't know what to say anymore, which is why I am not responding. I claimed, and said all my role capabilities to the best of my ability. And you guys still feel I'm sketch despite my track record with mafia games proving that I'm by no means a mafia mastermind, and would sure as hell not hold that GF role without fucking it up majorly.

I'm innocent, and will honestly do anything to prove it, even if it means wasting my vest tonight to leave me with nothing for the rest of the game.
