I've wikipedia'd all of these artists so far as a preview, but haven't listened to any of them yet. I'm more excited about the songs now though.

it's been used in movies and tv shows, including The Simpsons, Frasier, The Smothers Brothers and Cheaper By The Dozen.

anyway, Classical Gas is in the top 3 for me.

Probably also Better Than Ezra because I like to live in Normal Town.

And the third spot is still up for grabs.

I can honestly say I haven't heard any of these songs on this playlist previously. Classical Gas is familiar but I wasn't aware of it. And I only know one other Better Than Ezra song. :P

Even my own submission is relatively new to me. Tim Baker is not new to me, but that song is. I sampled it before I submitted it because I've been sticking with Canadian artists. I liked it enough and it kind of snuck up on me, as in it turned into a different song than I expected. And now I really, really like it.

I went with Rollercoaster for my third vote. The chorus sounds like something you might hear in a commercial for something.

I almost voted Lord of The Boards because it's such a weird song where it seems the singer is competing in a snowboarding competition against an alien?

I was reading an old comic book from the 80s yesterday, and one of the characters mentioned Classical Gas. :P
