I've never been a best man, thankfully lol. I'd have so much of anxiety about it.
Being a groomsman is kind of fun, except when you have to pose for all the silly pictures or are forced to dance at the wedding. :P

As far as the best man speeches. I thought mine were good, I’ve heard plenty of better ones though. I just tried to talk from the heart, and limit trying to be funny. |
I completely went the opposite route for my sister's wedding. I went for the laughs. I don't do mushy. But it went over really well, I think because nobody knew what to expect.
In general though, I think short and sweet is best. |
