Being a garbage man is not all that dirty. I've done many things worse than hauling trash. You guys need to get out a little more often, geez.

the garbage is already sorted and neatly tied up in bags or placed in bins. A janitor has to actually clean shit (sometimes literally).

sometimes the answers don't have to make the most logical sense.

I said writing an exam. Everyone's eyes are on you when you leave and come back, they'll know exactly how long you were gone as well lol. Teachers might wonder if you cheated while you were out of the room, etc. Also, being gone, you lose valuable time to write. And if you're not allowed to leave before you're finished writing, you won't be able to concentrate. :P
