Ahoda I mean you replicate all things Spider-Man can do |
Web slinging still isn't a super power. It's a technology. |
I'll still take it. I know traditionally, it's not a super power, but in at least one adaption, it's part of him.
Years ago when some Spider-man video game came out, I had been playing every day. And one time, after I was finished work, I thought to myself how much quicker it would be to just swing from lamp post to lamp post all the way up this hill I had to walk up. And for one split second, I thought it was possible until I remember I wasn't in the video game. :P But anyway, it'd be a fun way to travel and convenient. I thought about Nightcrawler's teleportation but didn't choose it in case it came with the condition that he has to see where he's going to teleport there.
The second one I chose was Luke Cage. Unbreakable skin and strength seems like it could be pretty useful.

With Magneto's power, you just lift yourself and levitate home.
We also get our helmet that blocks out telepathy so Curtis can't read our mind.
|
but I wouldn't find it as fun as swinging on a web! That's the whole point. lol

You could pull metal cables out of the area and then swing on those. |

But what about leaving all those webs hanging all over?
|
Better than having to repair streets and buildings and cars and whatever else you destroy.

the original Tobey Maguire Spider-man was the only movie I've ever seen in the theatres twice. I was a little obsessed. I even bought the soundtrack and I listened to it, even though the guy from Nickelback was on it...lol

I'm Magneto; I don't have to repair shit. That's for homo sapiens sapiens to deal with.
|
you're not Magneto. You just have his powers. :P
Have a nice day, sir! | |

Don't Spidey's webs disintegrate in like 6 hours? |
I was going to say that. At least mine would. :P

You act like I wouldn't suddenly start pushing for homo sapiens superior to take control of everything.
|
And YOU act like I wouldn't get the real Magneto to take you down, if me and my webs/strength/unbreakable skin couldn't get the job done.
Or I'd get my friend's neighbour who works with one of Jubilee's parents to get Jubilee's parents to get Jubilee to get Storm to get Charles Xavier to get the real Magneto to take you down. He'd also get the other X-Men. And I'd get Igor and his cheddah.

I would honestly just get Rose to stop you. You wouldn't even know she was there.

Wouldn't matter because he could teleport himself inside your asshole sideways and fuck you all up. |
Actually, he wouldn't do this because it would kill him- he doesn't displace matter he teleports into and instead they occupy the same space, fucking Nightcrawler up immensely. He's pretty careful not to teleport into objects like walls and such because of this. OTOH, he has traveled with Kitty Pride and she has phased them both out so that this doesn't actually happen |
What if he just Ant-Manned his way inside and then Giant-Manned? What good are your metal manipulation powers then?

I was waiting for someone to make that joke. lol
Anyway, thanks for the "fun" chat, Vlad. :P
Good luck with that taking over the world thing.
I'm just going to go swing around on some lamp posts.

Rose we both know you would use your invisibility to stay seated in your chair and play x hours of video games with no interruptions
Though I think grandma would still talk to that seemingly empty chair tbh |
After she takes down the man who's threatening that existence.
Okay, I'm done. | |
