Have watched 7/9 episodes of S2 so far. I really like this season but I think season 1 was a ton better. I do miss the groups adventures with Elle a lot. Don't have those interactions in S2 at all yet. The red head girl is good and a nice fit for the 2 guys not named Will or Mike to have a storyline. Will finish off S2 on Tuesday when the wife is back in town.
Finished S2 last night. Was a good season overall but not nearly as good as S1. The build to the end was good but I was expecting to see Elle kick ons demidog ass, and the only time she did was off camera. The Dart being friendly thing was obviously coming. I do really enjoy the character development of Steve going from asshole jock to super nice guy and risking his life for the kids. Paul Riser's character was refreshing as well.
Very interested to see what S3 brings as there wasn't a huge cliffhanger like S1.
Also good. A handful of funny small moments. "It's supposed to literally say "I'm Sorry"?? Steve's "uh...ok" when the two ran away giggling. I forget what else, BUT THEY WERE THERE! They were mostly Steve related
I loved the classic Jaws quote used here. "I can do anything I want. I'm the Chief of Police."
Mr. Clarke is great. Cary Elwes as the seedy mayor is fun casting. The Billy stuff was interesting. That sludge monster was p gross and cool
