It said in my Town Lover role (that I discarded) that if no one else is Lover but me, then I'd become Vanilla. I think this could be the case with other roles. I assume if Greenday would've kept his Lover Cop role then the lover part would've become insignificant as well I suppose.

Tbh I don't think seeing which roles were discarded will be much help at all since there are so many potentials which never even got picked for the PMs. We can eliminate a few roles from the game but there's bound to be a ton of crazy shit going on all the same.

I think the discarded roles is something that we'll only look into Day 1, once we've had our first night there's most likely gonna be more solid evidence to go by.

There are a total of 13 Mafia roles left, 9 if you disregard the Mafia Goons.

So it seems like the Mafia faction's at 9 or less, which makes it seem like things could be relatively balanced.

That being said, there's also Werewolves out there with a total of 14 roles left, 11 if you disregard the Werewolf vanillas.

Counting the Aliens, Serial Killers and Cult this is likely to become a crazier game with as many factions as Sppoky Castle 2.

I suspect that these pyramid quotes have something to do with a Pharaoh role.

I'm not exactly sure how to approach this setup... Day One has more to talk about. I would think we should probably keep eyes on those who would give up powerful town roles with kill abilities like Curtis... Hero is a great role. And also who the fuck gives up Kingmaker?

Still trying to find a decent way to track all this information. Unless I figuring it wrong, everyone had essentially a 16% chance of landing two Anti-Town roles and a 36% chance of landing two Pro-Town roles. That leaves 48% chance for everyone to land one of each. So that means it pretty unlikely that someone landed two Anti-town roles.

I'm not sure how you managed to run that calculation, but if it's accurate good job.

Hm, what I took away from schrauben's calculations is that half the people who discarded town roles did so in favor of better town roles while the other half chose scum roles. Same goes for people who discarded scum roles.

Since this was randomized there's always the possibility that this is not the case at all, but I do think there's a strong possibility it's not that far from the truth.
