I was meaning to watch this. I ended up watching the movie for the first time after seeing a teaser for the series a while back.

Just saw it and it's one of the best pilots I've ever seen. I'm wondering how they're going to get 10 episodes out of the plot so far though, and especially more than 1 season if it winds up not being just a mini-series.

IT'S A SEQUEL TO THE MOVIE. Wasn't expecting anything to be directly tied to the film, especially with me assuming a lot of characters were new takes on characters from the movie.

On another note, I'm excited for this series "The Strain". I think it's based on a comic book? The plot sounds interesting enough, and Guillermo Del Toro being the showrunner is cool.

Probably my favorite one since the premiere Spoiler + I loved ice scraper/sequel reveal. It reminded me of the Reservoir Dogs/Pulp Fiction briefcase theory a bit The reason why I liked this one so much was because of the Lorne and Gus scenes. The arrest was hilarious. And I loved Lorne's "You're making a mistake" PROPHECY line and the green riddle. The two bosses are so incompetent, but I still love how confident Lorne was that he'd get out of there Any scene with Lorne and the blackmailer is hilarious too. I loved their dialogue over the phone when he was in the pet store Lester being able to escape because the guy is deaf was funny. I thought at first he just didn't hear because of the drill, then I realized (: . The three in the jail cell next week is gonna be good

Holy crap this episode is crazy

I agree about Molly. I feel like Molly is so clearly supposed to be like the main protagonist of the film that it's a big shock to kill her off and move the focus entirely to Gus.

I'm surprised they did a whole year time skip, geez. I wonder if it was purely so Lester fans could see him be successful for a time before having him fail hard in the end and get arrested/killed/etc. I still think it would be amazing to let Lester actually come out alive and free in the end.
