I really like this show, it seems like after every episode i feel a little bit creeped out or uneasy which is a recipe for success in my book. I end up saying "WHAT THE FUCK" at least a couple times per episode.

I just introduced my friend and his Chinese wife to The Leftovers tonight.

We watched the pilot and at the end they both had like confused looks on their faces so I asked if even of them had any questions I could help with or whatever because I know the show is a lot to take in right off the bat.

And my friend's Chinese wife looks at me deadly serious and says "am I wasting my time watching this nonsense?"

Episode 2 starts with the theme song from 80's sitcom Perfect Strangers.

AMAZING

Just finished this a couple days ago, this might be one of my favorite series of all times. It was pretty fucking perfect from beginning to end.
